What we collect

Account. Your email, name, and sign-in details. You may also add a phone number, job title, trade, certifications, languages, and a photo. Accounts are created by a company invitation. There is no public sign-up.

Jobs and time. The jobs you are assigned to, clock in and out times, cost codes, notes, time-off requests, and who approved them.

Location, only when you punch. If you allow it, the phone can share your location while you clock in or out, so your company can see whether a punch looks on site. Location is optional. If you decline, the request times out, or the phone cannot share a location, the punch still counts. We do not follow you in the background.

Job files. Photos and documents your company stores on a job, including daily logs, punch-list photos, invoices, bills, and photos of paper receipts, with the vendor, date, and total when someone records them. If receipt reading is turned on, a receipt photo may be sent to a reading service to suggest those fields. A person on the job still checks them.

Invoice payments. If a client pays a builder invoice through the product, Stripe processes the bank transfer. We record that the invoice was paid.

Sign-in and mail. A sign-in cookie so you stay signed in. If you sign in with Google, Google shares the email on that Google account. If someone connects Google Calendar, we store that connection so job dates can show on a calendar. We send invitations, password-reset links, and signing links by email.

Why we collect it

To sign you in and show the jobs and hours that belong to you.

So your company can approve time, keep job records, and send the documents a client signs.

Location, when you share it, is only to show whether a punch looks on site. It is not used for ads.

Who we share it with

Your company. People in your company who are allowed to see that kind of record, such as hours, photos, or job files.

Clients. Only the document they were sent to sign.

The companies that run the product for us. Supabase hosts the database, sign-in, and file storage. The website has a hosting provider. Email is sent through an email provider. Stripe processes bank transfers when a client pays an invoice. Google sees what you share if you use Google sign-in or calendar. Mapbox receives jobsite addresses for geocoding and serves map tiles. A receipt reading service sees a receipt photo only if that reading is turned on.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

Account and job records stay while your company uses Egin.

Time records, photos, and signed documents are job records. Your company may need to keep them after someone leaves.

If you ask us to delete an account, we work with the company that invited you. Some job records may need to stay for that company's files even after the login is removed.

If you live in California

You can ask us what personal information we have about you, and you can ask us to delete it.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it so other companies can advertise to you.

Send those requests to info@handhammerdev.com. We may need to confirm it is you, and we may need the company that invited you to help.

Deleting an account

Crew accounts come from a company invitation. There is no delete button in the product today.

To request deletion, ask whoever runs your company, or email info@handhammerdev.com.

We will work with that company. Removing a login is different from erasing every job record that login helped create.
