Egin Scan
Egin Scan privacy
What Egin Scan collects, why, who sees it, and how long we keep it.

These pages have not been reviewed by a lawyer. They describe how Egin Scan works today.
What stays on your phone
Scanning happens on your iPhone. Your scans, photos and measurements stay on your phone until you order drawings. We do not see scans you never order.
The camera and LiDAR scanner are used only while you scan. Egin Scan does not use your location. When you type an address, Apple Maps suggests matches as you type.
Egin Scan has no ads and no tracking.
Your account
When you make an Egin Scan account we keep your first and last name, your company if you give one, your email address and your phone number. Your password is stored scrambled, so nobody here can read it.
We use your email to sign you in and send your drawings, and your phone only to reach you about an order. To close your account, delete it in the app or email info@handhammerdev.com.
What we get when you order
Your email address, the project name and address you typed, the formats you picked, any notes, and the scan files for that order: room shapes, the 3D scan and the photos taken during the scan.
Payment goes through Stripe. We never see your full card number. Stripe tells us the card brand, the last four digits and the name on the payment, if you gave one.
How we use it
Only to draft your drawings, email them to you, and answer your questions. We use AI tools to help draft, and a person reviews every job before it goes out.
We never sell your information or use it for ads.
How long we keep it
The files you send us are deleted 30 days after your order is delivered or closed. Payment records stay with Stripe as the law requires. Emails stay in our inbox.
To have us delete anything sooner, email info@handhammerdev.com.
Children
Egin Scan is for adults and businesses. It is not meant for children under 13.
