Egin Scan is free to download and use. You only pay when you order drawings. Here is how that works.

Who we are
Egin Scan is run by Hand + Hammer Development LLC, a design-build company in Sacramento, California. You can reach us at info@handhammerdev.com.
What you are buying
When you order, we draft as-built drawings of the existing conditions in your scan, in the formats you pick. As-built means what is there now. We do not design anything new.
We draft what the scan shows. We square rooms and clean up lines, and we mark anything the scan did not capture. We never visit the site, take measurements, or check the scan against the real building.
Your files are emailed to the address on the order. The download links work for 30 days, so save a copy.
Field verify everything
Our drawings come from your phone's scan, so they are only as good as the scan. Field verify every dimension and condition before you design, order materials, apply for a permit, or build.
The drawings are not a survey. They do not show property lines, setbacks, easements or utilities, and they are not a structural, engineering or code review.
Price and payment
The price is worked out from the square footage of your scan at our per square foot rates for the formats you pick, card processing included. You see the total before you pay.
You pay the full price once, at checkout, through Stripe. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. Nothing else is charged later.
Refunds
You can cancel for a full refund until drafting starts. Once drafting has started, the order is not refundable.
If something in your drawings is wrong because of our drafting, reply to your delivery email and we will make it right.
Your scans and drawings
Your scans and your drawings are yours. By ordering, you let us use your scan files to draft your drawings and to support your order.
We delete the files you sent us 30 days after your order is delivered or closed. Scans you never order stay on your phone.
Only scan places you have permission to scan.
Limits
If something goes wrong, the most we owe you is what you paid for that order. We are not responsible for decisions made from drawings that were not field verified.
These terms follow California law. We may update them, and the date at the top will change when we do.
